We are proud to announce our recent victory before the Illinois Supreme Court. The Supreme Court reversed an Appellate Court decision and affirmed a trial verdict of $300,000 we obtained in a guardianship proceeding after an extended trial. Maryann Wilson, a senior citizen, had been victimized by an acquaintance who used fraudulent powers of attorney to defraud her of her life savings. After the guardianship court entered judgment, the State's Attorney arrested the perpetrator and she is now serving an 11 year jail sentence.
